If we are guessing, I'd go with only about half that Sounds reasonable to me. I guess the real answer depends on what we mean by a Forth programmer -- someone who does full-time Forth programming; someone who dabbles in Forth; someone who knows Forth; or someone who's bought a copy of STARTING FORTH? As for the latter, I believe Elizabeth has stated that 100,000 copies have been sold.
