Not at all...  Here is a little gem that come thru here in source form a while
back.  I just tested it, and Archon I will run under 1.3. I remember Archon II
also running under 1.3 with this, but I didn't test it just now.  The problem
seems to be in the presence of fast memory.  This program switches to
supervisor mode and then jumps to $F80000 or something like that, which
evidently boots 1.3 after bypassing the auto-config tests.  Run this,
which will reboot the machine, and then when the hand appears, insert
you archon disk.   Executable (smallest I've seen yet) follows:
