Keywords: Structured Graphics, Format conversion? Message-ID: <735@godot.psc.edu> Date: 19 Jan 90 14:43:16 GMT Organization: Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center Lines: 22 Well I did get my local dealer to correct his price on PageSetterII and he kindly added 20% discount (which he had advertised on software). The outline fonts make the program usable on my 24pin NEC (P2200). It only comes with 2 outline fonts (same as I heard about ProPage1.3). This makes PageSetterII the least expensive way to have outline fonts, Though PageStream does have more outline fonts and costs only ~$40 more mail-order ($130 vs $90). PageSetterII allows importing of Graphics from ProDraw, or Bitmapped. Does anyone know of a conversion utility for other formats to ProDraw's I'd like to import drawings from IntroCAD, which has its own format, and has a utility for conversion to AegisDraw format. I really would like to avoid the "jaggies". I don't really want to spend the money on ProDraw right now. I'd rather spend it on the other Compugraphic fonts. I just noticed PLT popped up on the binaries group. Can it output a simulated 300dpi bitmap iff file so I could possibly simulate a scanner? Any ideas appreciated. -Ed Berger eberger@b.psc.edu
