[what is a line eater???]

Could somebody tell me what I need to build a cable to connect a
Thompson 4120 monitor to a Amiga 500. Can I use a regular cable
connected with the right pin-outs or do I need some electronics
(ie. invertors) build in the cable?

This monitor has a 9-pin connector for you know what kind of computers.
Any help would be appreciated...
