Unfortunately, knowing nothing about it, the first questions are very broad... Here's what's prompted the interest: A vendor has offered to sell us an application written in Revelation. In order to use their specially designed output reports with data data that already exists in our own in-house system, we want to download our data into the Revelation format. Pretty much every database management system I know has some ability to load data from a sequential file. Can Revelation do this? The vendor tells us that although the entire system is written in revelation, the files we need to update are *not* Revelation files, but "propriety." They therefore want to charge us embarrassingly large (and I mean *LARGE*) sums of money to write a program to load data from a sequential file into their data files. All this seems like monkey muffins to me, but without buying and learning Revelation overnight, I don't know enough to tell them to go pound salt. Any information would be greatly appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "I enjoy working with human beings, and John M.
