It also comes with a connector on the back that fits an Atari 3.5" 720K external floppy drive. The question is: what are chances that I could just plug in a 3.5" 1.44M external floppy drive instead (assuming I can get a connector that fits both ends) and have it work as a high-density floppy? Is there anything special about the high density drives that needs a special controller? If so, are there workarounds? (things like TSRs, I guess, that would be used instead of the regular BIOS...).
