I had the model number $ Totally wrong... it is a CDC 94205-51 40meg drive. So again, my question $ is ... What is the drive TYPE for an AT class machine... and .. Should $ I have any problems adding this as a 2nd hard drive unit along with my $ Seagate 20meg as my boot drive? (C:) $ The CDC 94205-51 has 989 cyl, 5 heads RWC=990, WPC=128. I have one of these animals. Most AT drive tables I have seen do not have a match to this drive. When I was using it in an Epson Equity II+, I used Drive Type 17 (977 cyl, 5 head). The new AMI BIOS has a type 47 that is user defined. If your BIOS has a user defined type, that is probably the one you want. Otherwise, you will have to settle on one that is 977 cyl, 5 heads. -- |-----------------------------------------------------------------------| |Glen Midkiff osu-cis!dsacg1!gmidkiff | |From the Internet: gmidkiff@dsac.dla.mil | |Phone: (614)-238-9643 @DLA, Systems Automation Center, Columbus, Oh. |
