I understand it is possible to access the specific input and output
ports of the IBM PC parallel port, to have access to some TTL-level
signals. I want to do some digital programming, and want to do
some low-level access to the port.

Can someone enlighten me as to the specifics of accessing the port
bits? I understand there are 12 output and 5 input bytes.
