Sciences, Lexington KY Lines: 13 I'm in the market for an op scan machine (my own money now so keep that in mind). I have read that the Chinon 3000 for $700 is a good page scanner that will create an ascii file. With this you evidently get Read Wright free. The Chinon 2000 is $500, but no software. From another source I read that PC Complete Half Page scanner for $400 is pretty good. They use Catreader software with it. What do you all know about these? Can you give me any advice? -- Thomas Kunselman {rutgers, uunet}!ukma!tek Office of Institutional Research bitnet: tek@ukma.bitnet Kentucky State University internet: tek@ms.uky.edu Frankfort, KY 40601 Educate, Don't Legislate!
