I am helping my fiance purchase a new PC type machine.  To make
an intelligent decision, would someone please tell me the difference
between the varoius graphics standards, i.e., the differences 
between VGA, EGA, CGA (DCGA), etc.

Since I don't read the newgroup regularly, please respond to me,
and I'll post a summary.
