I have an XT clone that I would like to speed up (WITHOUT replaceing
any hardware).  I would like to know how effective disk caching is.

Are some disk caching programs better than others?
Are they even necessary?
Will increasing the number of BUFFERS in my Congif.sys file, help?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
