Try updating to >System 6.0.4 for openers. -Russ Does Vantage, the commercial version of McSink, have this problem? I've been thinking about getting it, since McSink's performance is so abysmal as to make it useless for actual text entry (it's still good for text manipulation, though), but I don't want to spend the $54 MacConnection is asking and then get bitten by the same bug. BTW, I tried going back to version 6.3b, but there are bugs there which drive me batty, like the fact that when the window menus are enabled the menu bar menu doesn't work; I also still found a text lag, though not nearly as bad as version 6.5. -- Ralph Brandi ralph@lzfme.att.com att!lzfme!ralph Work flows toward the competent until they are submerged.
