Can anyone who owns one of these drives > tell me what they think of it. > Well the Cutting Edge series of drives is manufatured by the same company that manufactures the Ehman hard drives. Both hard drives are identical except for a slightly different pattern on teh front panel. They ar eboth manufactured at the same facility with exactly identical components. The only difference is that Ehman drives are sold directly from the manufacturer for $499.00 for 45+ megs and the Cutting Edge drives are sold through retailers at $525.00 (ie from mail order houses). Mac User November 1989 issue reviews both drives and explains this point. Another difference is the software that is bundled with the drive. The Cutting Edge Drive has slightly better software. I have a 45+ meg Ehman drive and found it to be a superb drive for my Mac Plus. I have also used a cutting edge drive and have found it to be identical except for the $25.00 price difference.... >>>ARUN MATHUR<<< Dalhousie University Medical School Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada...
