Keywords: MAC sit hqx crypt Message-ID: <19125@mikado.super.ORG> Date: 19 Jan 90 14:15:29 GMT Sender: news@super.ORG Reply-To: chris@super.UUCP (Chris P. Ross) Organization: Supercomputing Research Center, Bowie, MD Lines: 18 I have a problem that I hope someone can help me with. I recently came across a file for the macintosh that I was interested in looking at. The file had appended onto the end of it's name: .sit.hqx.crypt Now, I understand hqx, BinHex, and how do dissolve it. The same case with sit, but what I don't know, is what the .crypt means? Is it a Mac program? Is it some UNIX encryption? If anyone here has any information, or even a good idea, I'd be VERY glad to hear it. Thanks... - Chris -- -=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=-=*=- Chris P.
