Keywords: Finder Sounds Message-ID: <1451@mit-amt.MEDIA.MIT.EDU> Date: 21 Jan 90 07:55:58 GMT Reply-To: mjkobb@media-lab.media.mit.edu (Michael J Kobb) Organization: MIT Media Lab, Cambridge MA Lines: 22 Hi! I downloaded the init "Finder Sounds" from America Online, and I love the ability to play sounds when certain finder events (ESPECIALLY emptying the trash) happen. However, I find that the CDEV that controlls the init doesn't seem to work reliably. I turned off the zooming window sounds because they're too startling through my powered speakers, but they come back every now and then. The check boxes in the CDEV still indicate that they're turned off. Has anybody else had this problem? Is there any known init or application incompatibility? My system: Mac IIx, 5Mb, LaCie 105Mb HD, System 6.0.4, Finder 6.1.4, Multifinder 6.1b7, a stack of inits (init cdev 2.0, Vaccine v1, AntiToxin INIT, Sound Master, Color Arrow, Color Finder, Dimmer, Finder Sounds, IconWrap 1.2, Logout 1.0, Master Strokes, Mouse2, OnCue, Pop-Keys, Rear Window MF, Sroll Limit, SCSI, Smooth Clock, Suitcase II 1.2.6, SuperClock 3.1, SuperVideo, WindowList, Boomerang, DeskPict, Randomizer, SUM Shield INIT). Any ideas? Thanks, --Mike
