[more deleted] It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but Widgets, (a commercial utility program sold by CE Software as part of their DiskTop and Mock- Package Plus Utilities packages) will change all files of a certain type to have a set creator code. So, for example, you can change all your TEXT files to have a creator of MSWD (MS Word). These changes can be applied to all the files on a disk, or just to those within a selected folder. --Mark Phillips
