With McMax 1.0, a small editor, called Edit, was supplied, which is much handier to use, for a few reasons, than the internal McMax editor. It seems not to be on the update disk for McMax 2.0, and I returned my original disk to get the update without backing it up. My version of Edit became corrupted and I had to remove it from my hard disk. I've asked Nantucket if they can send me a copy of the program, but I'm not sure whether they still have it (nobody in customer service or technical support I spoke with was familiar with the program). So, if anyone out there has this program, I'd appreciate receiving a binhexed/stuffed copy at steve@violet.berkeley.edu. Thanks in advance.
