As reported earlier, my Disinfectant 1.5 [also the magic
and elusive 1.6, which should not exist] bombed for un-
explained reasons.  Following the advise of a large
number of helpful correspondents, including the author
of Disinfectant, John Norstadt, I checked on the inits.
After dividing and redividing them, the culprit showed
up.  It was FreshStart 1.6.

Caveat:  Disinfectant will not work with FreshStart
operating, either in Finder or Multifinder.
