Using command-K and command-F will stil work. Butt as it has been mentioned before, you can modify the laser driver so that a disk file is an option. Briefly: Make a copy of the laserwriter driver. Using ResEdit, open DITL 8191 as a template (in ver. 1.1 of resedit and earlier, use open as -then select ditl from the list.) Scroll down to the bottom, you will find an edit field that says Disk File. Above this are the four edit fields that determine the position of the checkbox, they are initially all 0, thus the option doesn't exist. Change the four zeros to 49 320 65 400 (or any other reasonable value) Save and quit. Rename this driver uniquely (not laserwriter, thats taken) Drag to the system folder. It now can be selected with the chooser. The print dialog box will now have a Disk File checkbox. Tim Butler (tbutler@wpi.wpi.edu) Dept. of Mechanical Engineering Worcester Polytechnic Institute
