I don't have any specific method in mind, but I do have two suggestions: 1) If you lock the screen while hiding/showing the fields, the operation will be faster (and prettier, since the whole card will appear to change at once); 2) If you're using a lot of fields, it's often possible to rework things to combine several fields into one.
