I'll not reply to your article point by point because you need some more
important basic info:

* The MD-21 does not support any and all disks.
* The MD-21 does not support being connected to two different disks
* There is room in the top of 3/260 for one tape, one MD-21 and two disks.
  Sun doesn't provide hardware to mount drives that they didn't sell.
* Sun's do not support any or all disks
* Bringing the SCSI bus out of a X/X60 package is not an sure thing.
* You are better off buying the disks that are listed in the SUn format
  program.
* Cables that fit do not imply that it will work.
