I have just brought up gdb for our users here on the Suns (wish someone was
doing a Masscomp port!).  The first guy I turned loose on it was debugging an
X11 program.  He got to a point where he wanted to call a function.  He and I
both went through the online documentation thinking that it MUST be in there
someplace!  We couldn't find it.  Is it not possible to call, rather that jump
to, a function?  If not, is it planned to add this at some point?
