We built the project file for !turbo C 2.0, it gets to the link step and then dies with a _main symbol not !found. ! !I know you guys got it to compile. Whats the trick? ! !I use MSC not turbo, so I'm a little lost here. Most likely you've forgotten to flip(Tm) the files; Turbo C does _not_ understand files that use merely the linefeed character as a line separator (as U*ix does). Microsoft C accepts both styles. The cure? If you've got Rahul's flip, then 'flip -mv *.*' does the trick. Otherwise, use your editor. I managed to compile the thing, but I still have problems.. namely, after some computations & fancy displays it dies horribly with the message (or stg like it) MAXPLATES exceeded ,,, infinite loop It appears that MAXPLATES is a constant with value 40; however, incrementing it does no good. I've tried with & without optimization, with & without word alignment; no visible difference. Has anybody encountered this? In other ways, a very interesting program, as is the accompanying article.
