I haven't been experiencing any problems with Kermit transfers on our
system (HP-UX (4.3BSD/SysV)) using the default Kermit setup:

A control quote  : 25
B padding char   : 0
C # padding chars: 0
D Packet size    : 94
E Start Packet   : 1
F End of Line    : 13
G Filetype	 : binary
