I am using the 'O' option to talk to a directly-connect Unix box. Telix writes the 'Press Alt-Z for help..' line near the top of the screen, then draws a box in the middle of the screen. The box displays alternating 'Add Linefeeds On' and 'Add Linefeeds Off' messages, and appears to lock up the system. Some keys (eg Break, the Alt keys) will momentarily clear the box, and Ctrl-Alt-Del will reboot. Has anyone else come across this? BTW, I have borrowed a standard PC to try Telix on, and it seems to work well (I am writing this msg with it), but I shall have to stick with Kermit on the '286 if I can't get it to talk to Unix. -- Enjoy, yerluvinunclesimon Opinions are mine - my cat has her own ideas Reach me at sar@datcon.co.uk, or ...!mcvax!ukc!pyrltd!datcon!sar
