I have been supporting and teaching Paradox on campus for several years 
and have not had any major problems.  We have many users running under Novell
networks with no problems.  I have found that it has really lived up to it's
name, Paradox, a easy to use yet powerful database.  Of course, choosing the 
right database depends on many variables.  Are you thinking of purchasing, and
if so you might repost your question explaining your situation.
