Keywords: ethernet, backbone, bridge Message-ID: <225@zds-ux.UUCP> Date: 22 Mar 90 22:08:29 GMT Organization: Zenith Data Systems Lines: 23 We want to connect a few segments of (thin) ethernet. Will the following arrangement work? Does it make sense? [T] | +-[B]-[S1]-[T] | +-[B]-[S2]-[T] | +-[B]-[S2]-[T] | [T] ([T] == terminator, [B] == bridge, [Sn] == segment n, + == BNC T plug) The three ethernet segments already exist. The ethernet backbone, and the three bridges are what we think we want to add. Please reply by email to conserve net bandwidth. -- Brad Staff | Zenith Data Systems | "A government that can forbid certain 616-982-5791 | psychoactive drugs can mandate others." bjstaff@zds-ux.zds.com | - Russell Turpin
