I ran an evaluation of V.32 modems for the University and Multitech came out as THE BEST of all modems. They connected to more other systems, were easiest to configure (the Microcom farce QXV.32 was the worst), and had best price/performance (our price at the time was about $700). I ended up buying a Multitech for home, and talk to the Fastcomms at work (the Fastcomms are another excelelnt choice, especially since they fit in those old Racal racks everyone has laying around everywhere) with no problems, as well as other Multitechs and unknown modems across the country. The Multitech is an excellent choice. jms
