I have used one in the past and they do a wonderful job of scanning images. The last I heard they have support for PC's Mac's and Iris's. The Iris version requires that you buy an interface card of some kind. The copier is around $6000 and the card is under $2000. I don't know about the Mac interface, although I do know that you get software with the Mac version. I have some in-house software to drive the Iris version (not written by me).
