We are looking for information on files servers for a graphics
database.  The images stored in the database will be about 4Meg each.
The server must be fast enough so each user is not waiting more than 5
seconds for an image.

We are also looking for image compression techniques which will yield a
compression of 2:1 or better and will not degrade the quality of the
image.

Please mail me any suggestions for solving these problems.
