Even after setting the following, pixel is not getting reflected on the screen. My program is in assembly language and is for a 80386 machine. 1 Bitmask (mask) 2 SetReset register( with color) 3 Enable SetReset register(with planes) 4 Dummy read before the write I am trying that for mode 12( Hex) of VGA. I am following the method given in the book by Richard F. Ferraro, Addison-Wesley," Programmers Guide to the EGA and VGA cards. Can anybody advise me of the possible mistake I am making ? If you have please pass on code upto the extent needed for explanation.
