I was wondering if some of you out there could give me some of the advantages of using C++ as opposed to C. Currently I'm developing some software using C, but am considering the possiblity of moving to C++. Also, I'm doing this under MS/DOS so I'm looking into getting the Zortech compiler. Does anyone know if I can get it from anywhere besides Zortech? Most places I called didn't even know what I was talking about. I called Zortech, they want $450 for the complete developers kit. DO I need all the kit? OR should I just purchase the compiler? Any comments would be appreciated. I'm not having much luck finding out anything about this.
