I have a friend who will be purchasing a 386-based machine
for home use.  He asked me what would be a good Fortran
compiler to look at.  Well, group, help me out!  What should
I tell him?  Please send me any solid recommendations including
names and prices.  Also, if you have any caveats as to compilers
to be avoided, that would help.  I'll post a summary if  there
is interest.  Thanks in advance.
