Yes, C is a bad language. But the better languages that are offered are not known for their speed. That is one reason why I prefer to program in C whenever possible. Often there are things I need to do which pointers (or PEEK and POKE in Basic) are the only way to go -- or wait for the language to be extended and wait and wait :-) But since C is so bad, why are all you programming in C? Surely you can program in your favorite language instead? Now there are a few of you out there who are tring to convert us canibals to be civilized, and I thank you. But you can't all be missionaries, can you? If so then from the traffic on comp.lang.c, there are more missionaries than us canibals.
