Yes, the ever popular, ``I am posting this message for a friend...''

A drummer-friend of mine has come across $500 and wants to buy a
drum machine...  He is a pretty decent drummer so he is not really interested
in toys; he is looking for something with a realistic (say, sampled) sounds
and wants the option to be able to alter or change completely the given
percussion (ie. through sampling).
