While only two folks have commented directly to the possible policy statement
I put forward, their point is well taken.  What I will do is this.  When
I post a request for references, I will send the originator a copy of
the current bibliographic contributor list.  Therefore, if your name
is on that list, you need not feel compelled to respond to the message.
