The Technisch-Naturwissenschaftliche Fakultaet at the Vienna 
University of Technology invites applications for a new chaired 
professorship in computer science. This new chair should cover 
the field of software technology in theory and practice,
teaching and research. The applicant is also expected to give 
one basic course in computer science. Requirements are a 
corresponding Austrian or foreign university degree, and a 
venia docendi on an Austrian or foreign university, or an 
equivalent scientific qualification. A reasonable command of the
German language is expected. Applicants should send complete
resume, a copy of the three most important papers/projects to:
