Several of ther respondents from the UK stated that >they could not legally carry usenet. When I responded to the poll, I was not aware that identification as site admin would affect the results. For the record, I am a site admin. I voted for shareware, in another group, so that all the NOISE about "should shareware be on the net" could go away. All you guys who are opposed to getting shareware could refuse it, and I could get it. Ok, so there's your counterexample. Tom Fitz ("that wang guy") is also a site admin. He too has gone on record as being in favor of shareware on the net, although I don't know if he responded to the poll. So if you want to conduct a fair poll, you can't make use of information which was not specifically requested.
