It wasn't c.s.m or c.s.u, so I think it was alt.sources. The program was a SysV INIT replacement. I didn't save it at the time, as I didn't want to replace init on a machine, but now I find a use for this program as a deamon handler, so that if a deamon dies, it automatically gets respawned. Does anybody remember this program? Or is it a figment of my imagination? Does anybody have the source and can send it to me? I would be very grateful, as I don't have time to write it from scratch.
