Get the public domain pbmplus package.  It has raster support and
postscript support, and just about anything else anyone would want to
convert between.  I've made hardcopies of screendumps (and many other
things :-) with this package.  The anon FTP list says expo.lcs.mit.edu
has it, but I don't remember if that's where I got it.
