Summary: looking for source Keywords: editor, source, wysiwyg Message-ID: <8759@chaph.usc.edu> Date: 22 Mar 90 21:53:20 GMT Sender: news@chaph.usc.edu Organization: University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA Lines: 29 Greetings.. I am looking for a small Full Screen Editor, WYSIWYG, suitable for use in a bbs, or for writting/editing small files. I don't need fancy capabilities, the features I'd need are: - Must be small, executable >50k - Source must be in C, with permission to modify (for nonprofit) - Must have usual features, such as: - load file - save file - kill/yank-back line - insert file - refresh screen - search - replace (ok if some are missing) - normal screen editing features, such as the ones in emacs, not vi. - compilable on Unix BSD-4.x... - may support, but NOT require curses - usable via vt100/102 emulators, on a screen as small as 23x40 up 50x132 (lines x characters). If someone has written such an editor, or knows of one, please let me know at this account (aliu@nunki.usc.edu, or whatever is in the From: line). Shars also welcome at this acount. (remember, must be modifiable with no strings attached, except for maintaining the original (C) notices).
