Hello,

Could readers of this groups suggest a source of introductory information
related to the posix standard.  I know basically what posix is and its
purpose.  For staters a list of the different "portions" of the 1003 standard
would be helpful (ie, 1003.x).  also is there a place i can get copies of
these documents at little or no cost?
