I have been getting stuff off this NET since virtually day 1. I've had my Amiga since Dec '85 and started FTP'ing as soon as I found out such a thing existed. I have gotten all the comp.binaries stuff as well as a lot of anonymous FTP stuff from Berkeley to Purdue to Finland. Not once have I even seen a virus. I have run everything my machine would handle at least once, so I am not merely lucky. This Net has got to be the safest way to get virus free n{oftware there is. Who is going to post something with a virus that can be traced, with relative ease, back to them? Why would anyo7{e deprive themselves of the great stuff here just because someone didn't want to release their source. Talk about paranoia. Sheesh!!!!!!!
