You can buy a new A2000 for $1400, which makes Commodore's offer worth <$400, and it would cost me more than that to move my peripherals. At the current market prices, if I decide the WB1.4/2.0 features are important enough to spend $1000+, I'll just go out and buy an A2000 and I'll still have the A1000 to play with. .
