Browser: allows one to view directories, copy files, etc, a la MAC 2. Snap: cut and paste ANY stype font from ANY window on ANY screen. 3. ARP1.3: Replaces most AmigaDos commands with smaller more powerful 4. VirusX: Kills viruses dead! get it if you do more than play games. 5. Switcher: Jump from 1 screen to another easily. Has a bunch of 6. Scripit: Does what Arexx does, without Arexx headaches!!! A must! 7. Dmouse: OR Qmouse: mouse accel/screen flipper/screen blanker 8. HandyIcons: makes a drop-down menu on WB with your favorite programs 9. NewZap: object code file editor - edit any file Byte-by-byte 10. sf: (Show File) - searches for all files matching pattern on a device 11. VLT: Possibly the best terminal emulator out for the amiga. 12. XOPER: System Monitor 13. STEVIE: A fairly good implementation of the un*x editor. 14. DME: a programmers editor. One of Matt Dillons amazing products. 15. SHELL: I use version 2.07 but newer better(?) versions are out. 16. wKeys, wIcon: give keyboard equivalents to window front/back, screen front/back and a general window iconification. 17. uShow: smallest iff file show program. Fast and featureless but also reliable. 18. dfc: replaces format and copy commands 19. VT100: Terminal emulator Let me add: SpudClock: Talking clock MemWatch2: Monitor low memory for pointer errors. More programmers should use this (or something like it). A68k: A good assembler that Charlie keeps improving. Access1.42: Reliable terminal for normal BBSing. MiddleButton: Makes a 3 button mouse useful with 1.3.2 & previous. SRT: Modify Display Alerts & catch a lot of gurus. BlitxFonts: Speed up screen printing. SetFont2.5: Change fonts. ConMan: Upgrade CLI with many features. DiskSalv: Pull your fat out of the fire. InstallBeep: Modify the screen flash system error to the sound of your choice. My Amiga laughs at me.
