If I have a program that opens a device and then CRASHES !! ,
the device is then marked (quite correctly) as busy until I reboot. Is there
any other way of freeing up the device? 
I am using GOMF2.2 and can't see as this will help here. Will GOMF3.0 close
and hung files/devices ???
