Keywords: GENLOCK AMIGA A1000 RS232 MODEM COMMUNICATION VIDEO EFFECTS Message-ID: Date: 15 Mar 90 14:53:28 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: Rutgers University Lines: 33 I have recently purchased a used Amiga 1000 w/Genlock. I have a few questions. I have no documentation for the equipment or software for the Genlock. My questions are primarily directed to the Genlock. I purchased the system so I can do special effects stuff with video input. I need a copy of any software and documentation that comes with the Genlock. If anyone could send me this (of course if it isn't legal to do so I would understand). Also if this is not a possibility can some one direct me to a source at Commodore that I can purchase this information or even some third party stuff. My immediate need is to aquire at least a simple program to test the genlock out to be sure it's really operational. If someone can tell me where to find either a cheap package or something in PD or Shareware I would appreciate it. Last but not least on the list is versions of KickStart & WorkBench. Apparently the person I bought this system from had previously sold an Amiga 500 to someone else. Well to make a long story short the versions of KS & WB that I have are version 1.3 for the A500/A2000. Should that make any difference on my A1000. Any suggestions to the above would be greatly appreciated. Oh one more last thought. I need the pinouts for a RS232 cable (25 to 25 pin) so I can get on- line. Thanx again. -- Scott R.
