When I have my hard drive mounted in the upper 3.5" disk bay, it works fine with the lid off, or partially on, but close it up (and of course put all the screws back in, 'cos you think it works) and - DAMM - endless read/write errors... I've fiddled about, and pretty much ruled out any shorts to the case, but it looks like RFI to me. Any help much appreciated.
