     I know we don't have an MMU in standard machines but a protecting front
  end could be written which would monitor writes to memory locations outside
  of a programs allocated space. I know it would be SLOW but with todays faster
  amigas that loss of speed might be an acceptable trade for a SAFE run.

     Is this really impossible?
