Summary: I think I need a digital RGB connector! Message-ID: <1990Mar23.041338.29074@mintaka.lcs.mit.edu> Date: 23 Mar 90 04:13:38 GMT Sender: news@mintaka.lcs.mit.edu Organization: MIT Laboratory for Computer Science Lines: 18 If anyone has successfully hooked up such an interface, I'd be very grateful to hear how you did it or whom you ordered it from--the composite output is surprisingly good, but it's just not the same. Since from the skimpy monitor docs the (20-pin) input seems to have IBM RGBI-style inputs and Apple-III XPGB1, XFGB2, XRGB4, and XRGB8 inputs (whatever that is), I suspect it may only accept digital input. Am I completely out of luck, or can I bang on the monitor to get it to accept analog RGB, or get some relatively inexpensive A/D converter? Reply by email (I doubt this is general interest...) and I'll summarize as soon as I get anything substantive.
